Join award-winning watercolor artist Mary Walker and her daughter, Rochelle, for a fun and informative two-day watercolor workshop. Together, they bring more than 80 years of combined experience in the art of watercolor.
Whether you're looking to strengthen your drawing skills, gain confidence with watercolor, or discover new techniques, Mary and Rochelle will share the tips, methods, and insights they've learned through decades of painting and teaching. This two-day workshop will start with sketching from a variety of beautiful still life arrangements, creating a strong composition that will be transferred to watercolor paper. You'll learn techniques for creating luminous color, strong values, and expressive brushwork while bringing your still life to life.

Supply list
- Pencil
- Good quality eraser (a kneaded eraser is best for watercolor)
- One or more sheets of 16" × 20" drawing paper
- One or more sheets of 16" × 20" watercolor paper
- Watercolor paints
- Watercolor brushes
- Water container
- Paper towels
You can work flat on the table, or bring a backing board, table easel, and tape.
