Scholarships
Awarded annually to Clay County high school seniors planning to pursue a career in the visual arts field or arts education.
In 2002, the Art Guild established the Courtenay Hunt Scholarship. The 2027 scholarship amount is $1,500, plus a gift certificate for the winning student's teacher for classroom art supplies. The deadline for submission is April 1, 2027.
To apply, students must download and complete the application forms, meet with the Art Guild review committee, and present their portfolio. Other criteria include academic records, community service, extracurricular activities, and recommendations.
All Courtenay Hunt Scholarships are awarded at the Art Guild's May general meeting, held the first Monday of May each year.
