My work is rooted in a deep love of color, culture and everyday beauty. Working in oil paints, I strive to capture vivid moments — whether it's the elegance of a single bloom, the energy of a scene or timeless beauty. I create to connect viewers to a place, awaken a memory, or spark joy.
Over the years, my art has taken me from gallery walls to community murals and international exhibitions. I was honored in 2019 to exhibit at the International Artist Show in Christophe Harbour, St. Kitts. The following year, I exhibited my collection of classic car paintings at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. One of my favorite paintings, Cuban Pleasures, was featured on the 2020 cover of Jacksonville Folio Magazine's food edition. Shortly after, I had a solo show at The Art Center Cooperative in Jacksonville. One of my proudest moments happened when chef Vivian Howard of PBS's "A Chef's Life" chose my heirloom tomato painting for display, where my artwork was seen across the show's first three television seasons.
Throughout my journey, I have remained dedicated to both artistic excellence and community leadership. As the former President of the Jacksonville Artist's Guild and owner of First Street Gallery for ten years in Neptune Beach, Florida, I've worked to support and uplift other artists for many years. Community projects, such as the 2021 Cove in Bloom Project in Green Cove Springs, have been equally meaningful.
