Debbie has been a resident of Fleming Island since 2011. She has been interested in the arts since childhood and often worked on projects with her artist mother. She even won a scholarship of a year of free lessons at a local art museum when she was in the 6th grade. As an adult she has also taken years of lessons and workshops in landscape, still life, and life drawing.
She is a former president of the Art Guild of Orange Park, and still loves the Guild and everything it does. Her main interests are spending time with her three grandchildren, reading, bird watching, and painting. She has long been passionate about pastels but also enjoys working with oil pastels, acrylics, and oil paints.
"I have loved nature and drawing since early childhood, and love making new discoveries of the wonders of the natural world around me."
