Beth Haizlip

Beth Haizlip is known as the "happy colorful expressionist artist" from Charleston, South Carolina. She married her high school sweetheart Ken, a Navy pilot, and moved to Orange Park in 1990. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Florida Southern College. Beth has won many awards and does commission work including murals and several posters.

Beth uses bold, colorful, impressionistic brushstrokes to make her paintings magical, not like viewing a photograph. She strives to capture the harmony of the light in contrast with deep shadows. She teaches classes at Whitey's Fish Camp, Atlantic Beach Arts Market, and Kiawah River, SC.
